The admission process at ESIC Hospital is designed to ensure a smooth transition from outpatient consultation to inpatient care. Here’s a detailed guide to help you understand the steps involved:
1. Admission Decision
Location: OPD or Referral from Doctor
Process:
Doctor's Recommendation: If your doctor recommends hospitalisation, they will provide a referral or admission note outlining the need for inpatient care.
Medical Review: The doctor may review your medical history and current condition to determine the appropriate type of admission (e.g., elective or emergency).
2. Pre-Admission Formalities

Admission Form: Complete an admission form with personal details, medical history, and insurance information. This form may be available online or at the hospital. Documentation: Provide necessary documents, including identification, health insurance details (if applicable), and any previous medical records or referral documents.
3. Room Allocation
